Corporate Media and the Simulacrusphere

The brainwashing that results in Trump derangement syndrome has nothing to do with higher education. It is due to an over reliance on CIA- sponsored fake news. As Pulitzer prize winner Chris Hedges observed, journalism is something one learns by doing, going to dangerous places and digging up inconvenient facts buried by entrenched sources of unelected power. The result can be social isolation and condemnation by media careerists who have internalized the agendas of inverted totalitarianism. Journalism classes do not teach this.

Part of the anti‑intellectualism spreading across the country is a result of the mindless factionalism promoted by CNN, CNBC, FOX, The Washington Post, NY Times and other compromised media outlets pushing baseless conspiracy theories like Russiagate to cover up the neoliberal failures of the democratic party which spits in the face of all progressive voters (already a given with the crypto‑fascist republican party.)

Employing a methodology of skepticism and free enquiry as an epistemological tool is essential in today’s climate of simulated media spectacles, CIA psy-ops and other manufactured crises fueled by fear and ignorance. We must never believe in the anointed status of millionaire hacks like Dr. Fauci, Gov. Cuomo and Bill Gates, who are propped up by mainstream media while undermining our liberties and our society's medical preparedness.

Technology can be perverted by enemies of science like Fauci and his minions in the corrupt medical establishment. The false paradigm of right vs left in Amerika is a distraction from the up vs down war on 99% of us.

Controlled corporate media was completely on the side of the Cheney/Bush junta when the illegitimate war against Afghanistan and Iraq decimated the U.S. economy. Pundits and long-respected liberal news people, like Helen Thomas, Dan Rather, Phil Donahue, Glenn Greenwald, Chris Hedges and progressives like Rosie O'Donnell, Scott Ritter, Noam Chomsky, Ralph Nader and others were suddenly removed from the airwaves by mainstream media for questioning U.S. imperialism and opposing the neo-con lunacy of the PNAC [Partnership for a New American Century] crazies controlling the White House.

After Trump surprised everyone and won a populist campaign for the presidency, controlled corporate media initiated a demonization campaign against him 24/7, which by now has eroded all credibility regarding broadcast journalism in Amerika. People now hate the media more than politicians (who are among the lowest and most hated people in the country.) This is due to a corporate monopoly of all channels of communication, except for the Internet, which is the only place one can briefly locate the truth.

Now You Tube censors content deviating from the dominant COVID19 narrative. Friends of mine (investigative journalists) with long popular alternative websites and blogs find themselves removed from Google searches, thanks to new algorithms designed to limit a diversity of ideas, particularly those that question the dominant ideology of unfettered disaster capitalism and U.S. imperialism.

The only place to now see honest political analysis is on YouTube videos posted by RT, Democracy Now, Jimmy Dore, The Hill, The Young Turks, or on Helen of Destroy's site and a few others. Truth Dig was shut down after Bob Scheer questioned the Russiagate hoax and was fired along with a staff of striking progressive writers like Hedges.

The Event 201 [“A Global Pandemic Exercise” hosted by The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on October 18, 2019–Ed.] agenda is to stop "false news" that contradicts their social engineering projects with "flooding" strategies. The same with FaceBook, which now posts correction warnings regarding articles and videos considered too unorthodox for adult viewers.

Both sides of the duopoly mainstream political parties are unable to cull fact from fiction in today's Simulacrusphere. This makes alternative sources of information so essential.
